+# Pre-Release
+
+1. Bump version inside the `eive_tmtc/__init__.py` file.
+2. Update `CHANGELOG.md`: Convert `unreleased` section into version section
+   with date and new `unreleased`section.
+3. Run auto-formatter with `black .`
+4. Run linter with `flake8 .`
+
+# Post-Release
+
+1. Create new release on `EGit` based on the release branch. This also creates
+   a tag.
